Savanah Williams

Though I may bend I will not break.
I am weak so I am strong 
I run my race in my own time in my lane.
I have been battered and bruised and hardened through pain.
I sometimes learn things the hard way. But that's OK. 
I was once a fearful Savanah and now I am a brave Savanah, a fierce Savanah, a Savanah who fights, who strives, lives and survives. 
I came from somewhere where I was afraid of everything someone who didn't know who they were, someone who didn't conquer any of her fears, someone who was scared, someone who didn't understand themselves or the world around them. I was someone that no one believed in and no one thought I would get anywhere and succeed, someone that people called a failure. A dog. They told me I would not finish college. I did. They told me I would not get to uni. I did. They told me I would never become anything more than the mediocre I did. Every single time someone doubts me I prove them wrong. And yes, it may not be easy sometimes it's the hardest thing I hit the wall and just bounce from side to side till I get to the end of the tunnel but I get there because I am Savanah Queen of the Ent. A soldier, a fighter, a warrior. And though sometimes things are scary like they may be right now. Be still Savanah be calm you'll be ok if you make it ok. A trade secret in life is that we have no option but to be okay.
You may not possess skills the others possess but you possess skills they do not. Don't doubt yourself hate yourself or complain. Take solace in your capabilities while improving and learning from others. 
IPD made you into the woman you are. The only people to encourage and at times force you to be the greatest to never settle for the mediocre even if greatness is hard. They fight for you live for you and would die protecting you as you would them. And though we have differences it does not mean we are indifferent. You've achieved more than you could imagine. You've already surpassed most of your siblings and even your parents when they were your age and in some ways at their current age. 
They said you would be a failure now all they see is success.
I proved all those people wrong, I made something that was impossible possible, I conquered all my fears and continue to. I understand that weakness makes me stronger, I wanted more from life and better in myself and for myself 
Now I am the imperfections that make me unique.
